Is Foot Pain Bigger in Texas?

Volunteering to make Thanksgiving meal for friends and family?  Check.

Finding out you need to fly out Thanksgiving afternoon to make TV appearance on Friday?  Check.

Find out that TV appearance is live from a mall at 5:20 in the morning?  Check.

Realizing you have to get up at 4:00AM to make said appearance?  Check.

No, there’s not going to be a professional to do my  make-up at 4:00 in the morning?  Ouch.

Oh, you want me to fly to Texas the Monday before Thanksgiving to do a Tuesday AM segment too?  OK.

Wait, do I have to get up at 4 AM Tuesday morning?  Yup.

Car trouble on the way to the airport?  Check.

Finding out about death in the family just after touch down?  Check.

Wait, am I still cooking TG meal on Thursday?  You betcha.

The thing is, life never stops, so you just better hang on and enjoy every moment.  And it works out every step of the way, and I’ve been given the best of the best to spend my days with.  Thank you, every one of you.

I just got back from doing a segment about feet and healthy footwear on Good Morning Texas!  In case you missed it (and why wouldn’t you have missed it?), click here if you want to brag to your friends that you’ve seen it.

In memory of Jo Jo, because you had quite the experience, and through you, the adventure goes on.

Katy, you are so smooth on film! (Regardless of circumstances, clearly.) I’m sorry for the death in your family, and wishing you a wonderful Thanksgiving.

OK Mary made me check out your blog and you’ve got nothing on her for big Texas hair! Enjoy the time with your family this weekend and give your sister a big hug for me!

Her shoes were pretty funny, and she just “had” to wear them!
